Profile

Suji is an author/illustrator born in South Korea and grew up in New Jersey. She loves silly stories, fluffy animals, and dreamy romance. Her style ranges from picture books to young adults. An old soul and a lover of travel and animals, her work is inspired by old TV shows, trips around the world, or funny animals. She graduated from the Parsons School of Design in 2015, where she developed a unique style combining whimsy, emotion, and a touch of wanderlust. She enjoys bringing in a unique perspective as a Korean-American, incorporating her bicultural experiences into her art. She seeks to spread positivity, humor, and diversity through her work. When not working, she can be found walking her dogs or napping with her giant cat, Milky.
