Profile

Hello, I’m Alex. A full time freelance illustrator/artist, writer and storyteller based near Swindon. I live with my young family in the Wiltshire countryside along with the soppiest ginger furball cat and a fabulous pair of Pugs. My most popular work is bright, bold and full of character and fun. I can often be found in my studio creating work in a myriad of media from paint and pencil to charcoal and ‘Procreate’. As an illustrator I love the opportunity to work with both new and established authors (Everyone has a story to tell and it’s really inspiring to hear different people’s tales) I love bringing stories and characters to life (with over 50 books published and hopefully many more to come). I have also created images for a variety of purposes eg. social media campaigns, public performance, product promotion, presentation pitches. I am an avid reader of stories, some of which I find inspiration in for writing my own. A lot of the books I have worked on or have written can be found on my Amazon Author page as well as Waterstones. As a storyteller I’ve performed in a variety of events, using my illustrations; festivals, private parties, school visits etc. (with audiences from Nursery's to Nursing Homes!)
