illustration of Pen & Ink, Fantasy, People, Portrait, Sci-Fi
illustration of A self initiated project designed to show the scientific and everyday uses of all 118 elements in the periodic table, in a more engaging way than a standard periodic table. Every element has been hand drawn using traditional materials by the artist over the course of 3 years.

Each drawing shows the atomic number, the symbol, and with the use of colour the group that the element falls into.
illustration of Everyone loves earthworms (well they should do as our soils depend on them - did you know in the UK the earthworm population has fallen by between 31-41% in the last 25 years?),
So here’s an earthworm getting its own back on humanity and attacking a tube train. One of my new years resolutions this year is to read no dystopian fiction this year as the world is dystopian enough. So far I have managed it, but it appears I’m drawing them instead… I’m not sure that’s entirely what I had in mind!
illustration of The latest in my British Transport Dystopias series, this one shows a Kraken attacking an Intercity 125 on the Riviera Line (running between Exeter and Plymouth) just outside Dawlish in Devon.
illustration of This is the latest in my British Transport Dystopias series - this time featuring a classic Routemaster London Bus being picked up by a swarm of ants on Oxford Street.
illustration of Humor, Action, Adventure, Children, Editorial, Sci-Fi, Transportation, Wildlife, Edgy
illustration of The Woodlouse Who Fell to Earth is my playful take on imagining a woodlouse as if it came from outer space. I used bright, bold colours to bring this little creature to life against a cosmic background, mixing nature with a bit of sci-fi fun. It’s a piece that shows my love for blending the natural world with imaginative storytelling, with a lighter, more colourful vibe than some of my other work.
illustration of Some prawns are attacking a lighthouse far out at sea, nature reclaiming a man made structure. Who knows why, maybe they do not like the light, maybe they intend to feed off the lighthouse keeper.

illustration of Mars, the fourth planet in our solar system, the red planet and the most likely place that could support life. This image is part of my self initiated Planets series, and shows the robotic rover Opportunity which landed on Mars on the 24th January 2004, and was active until mid-2018, 57 times its originally designed lifespan. Sadly in that time it found no signs of life.
illustration of Venus, the second planet in our solar system. This print shows the landscape of Venus, which is the most volcanic known planet. It also shows the Venera 7, a Soviet spacecraft, which was the first probe mankind sent to the green planet on 15th December 1970, and also became the first spacecraft to soft land on another planet and the first to transmit data from there back to Earth.
illustration of From 2021 to 2023, I was commissioned by the Royal Society of Medicine to create a series of illustrations for their annual reports. The illustrations were designed to capture the sense of people returning to the RSM’s headquarters as COVID-19 restrictions eased, reflecting a renewed sense of connection, activity, and community within the organisation.
illustration of Line with Color, Pen & Ink, Animals, Science, Scientific
illustration of An off-shoot of my Periodic Table series, this shows the relationship between vitamins and the human body - how each one is used by the body (here showing Vitamin A being essential for good eye sight) and how we can get enough of each vitamin.
