Profile

I am a Poland-based visual artist working across illustration, painting, and visual communication. With over thirteen years of professional experience as a graphic designer, my work places a strong emphasis on illustration as a tool for storytelling, emotional expression, and visual reflection. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where I studied graphic design, painting, and drawing. My background combines classical visual training with a practical understanding of communication, narrative clarity, and collaboration developed through long-term professional work. My illustrations explore themes of nature, wellbeing, mental health, embodiment, food, travel, and everyday rituals. I am drawn to quiet narratives, subtle emotional tension, and visual metaphors that allow complex ideas to surface gently rather than explicitly. Animals, plants, and the human body appear in my work as symbolic rather than literal elements. I work primarily with mixed media, combining drawing, painting, collage, and scanned textures. I value tactile qualities and analogue imperfections, integrating them into digital compositions suitable for editorial, publishing, and commercial contexts. I am interested in collaborations within editorial illustration, book covers, publishing, and applied illustration for cultural and product-based projects.
