Illustrator, author, and educator Timothy Banks creates narrative-driven artwork filled with character, atmosphere, and a touch of wonder. Whether he's designing a picture book, painting a sweeping landscape, or bringing an imagined world to life, his goal is always the same: tell a story that people want to step inside. His clients include Nike, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Holiday House, Hyperion, Lerner Publishing, Capstone, McGraw-Hill, Egmont, and Faber & Faber. His work has received honors from the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, Spectrum, 3x3, Creative Quarterly, and other international competitions. Timothy serves as a Professor of Illustration at the University of Central Florida and is represented worldwide by Bright Agency. He works with publishers, design studios, agencies, and authors on children's books, editorial illustration, publishing, licensing, and visual storytelling projects.
