Hailing from Tampa Bay, Florida, Pale Horse is the moniker and studio space of visual artist Chris Parks. As a self-taught illustrator, with a BA in graphic & interactive communication from the Ringling College of Art & Design, Chris' work is a striking mix of bold, colorful and extremely detailed illustrations, combined with high-level typography and graphic design. With over 11 years in the industry, Chris got his start creating album art for punk, metal and indie bands and was later hired as the graphic design director for the wold-renown product studio, Robrady Design. Since opening the doors to his own studio in 2006, Chris has had the opportunity to create artwork for a wide range of brands, from apparel and action sports market companies to toy and entertainment clients. In addition to client work, Chris also creates apparel and products for his own line and actively hosts and participates in various gallery exhibitions throughout the US, Europe and Asia.
