Katie Kath

Profile

Katie Kath is a freelance illustrator and designer who specializes in art for children but whose work spans across many different illustrative markets. She received her BFA in illustration from Winthrop University and will soon obtain her MFA in the same field at Savannah College of Art and Design. Her many achievements include winning a 2012 Applied Arts Student Award and receiving the Summer 2013 Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Student Illustrator Scholarship award. Katie lives in Georgia where the winters are mild and the bugs are of a prehistoric size. She loves animals, tea, and chocolate, and when she is not working she is baking, singing songs, or planting something.
