Profile
Frazer studied illustration at Central St. Martins college of Art & Design, London, graduating in 1992. Often focussing on metaphorical thinking and symbolism he has become known for his ability to ‘short circuit’ complex ideas with quick fire conceptual thinking, satire and wit, and is probably best known for his work within the British editorial market. This ability to clarify ideas has procured him a number of prestigious awards including an Association of Illustrators gold award, the ALPSP award for learned journals, (Lancet magazine), a professional advertising merit from the internationally renowned 3x3 journal and The Victoria & Albert museum award for editorial work on no less than three occassions. Frazer currently combines freelance work with his role as senior lecturer in visual communication at Sheffield Institute of Arts and is applying to undertake a PHD in drawing related practice.
