Michael Parkin is a freelance illustrator based in London with a First Class Illustration degree from Kingston University. His style is simple, but well observed. Whether he’s creating an editorial image, a poster or or a series of prints his work is wonderful at telling a story. He enjoys working by hand to create the textures and details for his work, which are then scanned in and compiled/coloured digitally. This gives his work a natural and playful feel, which is both vibrant and full of energy.
