His artwork received honors from Society of Illustrators (including Silver Medal), 3x3 (including Gold and Bronze Medal), American Illustration, Communication Arts, and 200 Best illustrators Worldwide. Aad Goudappel obtained a Bachelor of Art at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), and in addition followed courses at Camberwell College of Art in London (UK) and the Art Institute in Boston (USA). His artwork is broadly used in all forms of communication: editorial, institutional, advertising and children's books.
