Based on Shin Yun-bok's work, a pivotal figure in late Joseon-era genre paintings, Jungyeon focused on 'Hyewonjeonshincheop' portraying everyday Korean life, reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens. The handmade silk-screen reinterprets his laundry scene. "Young women are working on laptops or using mobile phones while waiting for their laundry. A man, ready to leave, turns his head to look at them. An elderly person looks on with displeasure." Award: American Illustration 43
