Next illustration of d'Artagnan and Constance, star-crossed lovers from the BBC's The Musketeers are in a romantic rendezvous. Luke Pasqualino as the dashing, swashbuckling Musketeer, d'Artagnan, and Tamla Kari as beautiful Constance are Ill-fated lovers. d'Artagnan is perched upon a tree and stretched across to the balcony of the Louvre, where Constance reaches out to kiss him in a scene reminiscent of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

d'Artagnan and Constance Star-crossed Lovers

d'Artagnan, the protagonist of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel, "The Three Musketeers", fights valiantly against brigands and assassins as he journeys to England to retrieve Queen Anne of Austria's diamonds from the Duke of Buckingham. d'Artagnan is Sandra's favorite swashbuckler and she would love to illustrate a rendition of this book for children.
