The Cardinal has always been a helpful symbol for me, so I decided to try this experiement with the likeness of the main figure.

Black Linework was etched in copper, while the background was made with three screenprinting screens in layer succession.

The linework was then printed into the color to create something flat but with subtle blending from the screenprinted color.
