For Squarespace’s “The Sound of Solidarity” Campaign on Latin Heritage Month 2020. My task was creating an image that would be a literal translation of a commonly used phrase where I come from. The phrase “Te conozco bacalao, aunque venga’ difrazao’” would translate in english to “I know you cod, even if you come in disguise” a phrase used in Santo Domingo when you want to tell someone “I know you well, you cannot trick me”. fish
