The future is in the motion

illustration of “To enter and to exit safely.” The first and the main Illustration from a series of eight for an article in ForbesLife about myths around midlife crisis and ways out. Because the article was about myths, my idea was to draw illustrations in the style of ancient Greek painting on amphorae.

Trotsky was a brilliant thinker, speaker, and organizer, the “demon” of the revolution, as they used to call him, a contradictory figure...And I wonder, at what point do big ideas turn into despotism? Why does it have blood and then darkness? Why did the scissors cut history into “before” and “after,” and what was Trotsky’s part in the process?
