David Blaine's Dive of Death

illustration of David Blaine was buried six feet underground for four days in a glass coffin covered with a tank of water. Spectators could see him through the water as he awaited his return to the surface. Painted in gouache, airbrush, and watercolor.
Next illustration of David Blaine was immersed in a water tank at Lincoln Center for several days. Passersby could greet him and touch the spherical tank. Mark Stutzman assisted in the site design including the stand for the enormous tank. Stutzman also suggests Blaine be cuffed to the tank which was an unknown aspect to some of his team. Painted in gouache, airbrush, and watercolor.
