Herniated Disc - Nerve Impingement

This image was created as a locator image for an article titled, "The Human Instrument". The goal was to offer an inside look at human vocal tract anatomy and the various areas associated with sound (mouth, oropharynx, esophagus, trachea, epiglottis, vocal chords).
