Profile
Michael Crampton is a professional illustrator with more than 25 years of experience. He studied illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California. He was also an art director for Neiman Marcus, a luxury specialty retail store with 42 locations for six years. His passion and inspiration is from collecting and studying vintage posters from the 1900’s to the 1970’s and even 1980’s by now! Michael loves travel and travel related subjects and locations, and has illustrated for clients extensively worldwide. Michael also collects packaging both graphically interesting modern and vintage and loves it when he gets to illustrate for packaging. His other hobby is collecting vintage and unusual playing cards. One of his favorite job appreciations was to get an evening at a White House Christmas Gala and meet with President Clinton and First Lady after having illustrated a Christmas Brochure for them.
