illustration of Wine label branding for Le Vigne winery, an organic vineyard in Paso Robles, California for their new product line called ‘Delicate Balance’.

Organic wine makers use other plants between the rows of grapes called cover crops. Most commonly, these are wild flowers to encourage insects and insect-eating birds.

The packaging of this new product line reflects the delicate balance of this ecosystem that brings to life this high-quality alcoholic drink.

Profile

Kati is a UK-based illustrator and designer, whose thoughtful and playful imagery is distinctive for its limited colours, elegant lines and handmade textures that she creates for each of her projects. Kati often gets inspiration from history and the aesthetics of folk art, which she then turns into contemporary designs with incorporated hand-lettering. She has worked on many branding projects and her work has featured in the flow calendar. Her imagery is perfect for advertising agencies, design firms, trade magazines, consumer magazines and book publishing. Her illustrations seem to step out of a dreamlike fantasy world and take us by the hand back into their imaginary place. She carefully chooses her palette and linework to establish an emotional connection with the viewer.
