Mattias Gordon has been freelancing for over 30 years as an illustrator, animator, cartoonist, and writer. He likes to learn the details of a project and then find the best way to tell “the story”. Whether creating a small icon or a five-minute film, it’s important to find the correct message. He also creates original stories and characters. He enjoys working on a variety of projects and using different tools, experimenting, and finding new solutions. His past work often has had a humorous slant. As an illustrator, Mattias has worked with magazines, newspapers, advertisers, and companies. He has created comic strips over the years and has written and illustrated three children’s books. He has been working with 2D animation in most formats. He runs his own small studio and produces most of the films. On bigger projects, he collaborates with other studios. Mattias has worked on short films, instructional videos, commercials, TV series, games, music videos, and feature films. He is up-to-date on digital tools and works in vector as well as in bitmap. Mattias enjoys collaborating with others. He is willing to take the time and patience required to nail the project yet is careful about meeting deadlines. He invites feedback on his work to improve the final product. The goal is to get a good result and make the customer happy!
