After wasting 4 years of studying fashion design at a university, she crossed the Pacific Ocean to the other side of the earth to study illustration in 2015 and received an MFA degree from Syracuse University in 2018. Her brain is full of songs and weird imaginations, and she likes to hum and draw all day long. Following the rules is never her motto. Sija Hong has a wealth of commercial project experience, and has worked with clients such as Disney, MTA, Macmillan Publishers, Bloomberg Markets, Scientific American and Chronicle Books.Once she has free time, she is likely to travel anywhere in the world.
