In this fiction story an anxious girl moves to San Francisco and is having trouble adjusting. She befriends her elderly neighbor who grows fruit and gives it away to all the neighbors. The girl cautiously tries drinking from a pomelo and loves it. The girl then shares fruit with another new student and makes a new friend.

Profile

I am a published illustrator living in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania with my husband and four cats. I grew up in Gahanna, Ohio and studied illustration at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. My expressive illustrations are commissioned by children's book, magazine and educational publishers worldwide.
