Profile

Ben Konkol’s work invites you into a transcendental daydream. His images tell the secret stories of plants, animals, objects and people from backcountry forests to city streets. He illustrates and animates with mystical reverence for nature and a keen affinity for creating detailed compositions. Since earning his BFA in Illustration from Boise State University, Ben’s work has been regularly recognized and awarded by Communication Arts, American Illustration, 3×3 Illustration Annual, and Society of Illustrators (Silver Medal). His work has been commissioned and published by clients like Patagonia, Sony Music, NBC News, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, The LA Times, and UCLA Magazine among others.
