Profile

Since 1990 Todd Buck has been developing and creating high quality custom medical and scientific illustrations for medical and consumer publishing, pharmaceutical and biotech advertising and marketing, and web-based patient education media. Todd is a Board-Certified Medical Illustrator and a Fellow of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI). He has served as AMI President and on the AMI Board of Governors. For 20 years Todd was Professor of Illustration at Northern Illinois University School of Art and Design teaching courses in beginning through advanced illustration, scientific illustration, traditional and digital media including introduction to 3D modeling, and best business practices. Todd’s illustrations have been displayed at Chicago’s International Museum of Surgical Sciences, the American Museum of Natural History in New York, the National Library of Medicine in Maryland, the Universidad Andres Bello in Santiago, Chile, the Hong Kong Science Museum, and Politikens Hus in Copenhagen, Denmark.
