Diabetic gastroparesis is an autonomic neuropathic complication of diabetes where smooth muscles of the stomach wall are unable to function properly. Result can be impaired peristalses or gastric stasis. Shown are the muscle layers of stomach wall and enteric nerve network plus metoclopramide molecules floating to receptor within bilipid membrane causing a reaction.
