Name and tagline inspired by Sir Isaac Newton's first law of motion (a body or object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an external force). The apple (inspired by the legend of an apple falling on Newton's head) featured a skull's eye and nasal openings to bring the two subjects together.
