This composition has an underlying newspaper theme, and while headlines can be compelling, art overpowers words.
Next illustration of The Elements (line, shape, size, space, texture, value, and color) are WHAT graphic designers use and the Principles (balance, rhythm, emphasis, and unity & variety) are HOW they use them.  Included here are some Gestalt principles, like proximity, closure, symmetry, similarity, and figure & ground. Some words give a little hint as to their function or purpose.
