Next illustration of These were two of four images commissioned by the Birmingham Royal Ballet that were used as back projections for performances of Sir Frederick Ashton’s ‘Divertissements’, a quartet of short ballets that included ‘Tweedledum and Tweedledee’ - hence the ‘Alice’ imagery. The heraldic crest was for a ballet set to the Habsburg-era music of Johannes Brahms.
