The concept is that no matter how much one loves their hometown they also would like to see it blown up. The composition is bananas to that end, with a giant robot defending the arena from a fire breathing dragon while chaos rains down all around an the band continues playing inside. Next illustration of I designed and illustrated this poster for Foo Fighter's 2018 show in Milwaukee. As I was really into Tim Lapetino's Art of Atari book at the time I wanted to do something in the vein of a classic arcade game cabinet. I illustrated the band defending Milwaukee from demonic space invaders with the power of rock. Fun fact: 500 of these sold out at the show before the opener took the stage.
