Hand drawn and digitally colored illustration commissioned for the scifi novel, "A Chronicle Volume II" by EAE Gerber. The scene is of the main character's space station being hijacked by a group of insectoid aliens. The aliens are described as being a cross between a bee and an ant. In the back you can see their queen in a translucent silver dress. To givethe aliens a menacing feel I showed all 16 members of the boarding party stepping off of their vessel with guns and bandoliers of ammo.
