Next illustration of A personal digital illustration, inspired by the art of Moebius. This was one of my early experiments with using the perspective grid tool in procreate which allowed for greater ease in depicting expansiveness. Before this picture my depictions of technology would look a little bit blocky. For this piece I tried not to over-think the details of the technology and just let my intuitive creativity fill in the details. The color scheme was chosen to show a cold and harsh environment of a tundra.

18" by 24" colored pencil and ink poster. Deeply inspired by the work of Roger Dean, the title is based on Gordon Lightfoot's song "Seven Island Suite". I felt that the picture looked incomplete without something on top of the rock. I decided to add a more modern cityscape in order to mix up the genre rather than it being strictly fantasy. I avoided using outlines except for the foreground images. This is why the mountains, hills and streams in the background look softer and further away.
