Next illustration of Hand drawn and digitally colored personal illustration. This is the first drawing I've done in the Solar Punk genre. A genre that depicts a future where humanity co-exists in an ecologically synergistic manner with the planet. In order to show the health and vibrancy of the city, I decided to make it clean and lively using white, grey and various blues and greens. My goal is to convey a sense of optimism about a green and healthy future on this planet.

Return of the Dawn Riders

An 11" by 14" graphite redrawing of an older personal drawing. I decided to redraw a ten year old illustration of mine to show how much my art skills have improved over the decade. The original piece is surreal and colorful but lacked technical efficiency, so I took the image and its surrealism and redrew it using graphite and my ten years of experience. I used a photo of a skull and neck vertebrae to make those elements realistic enough to be somewhat unsettlingly bizarre.
