Yokai : Kotobuki

illustration of Karakasa kozō literally, paper umbrella priest boy. Their favorite method of surprising humans is to sneak up on them and deliver a large, oily lick with their enormous tongues👅🤣they hop around wildly with one or two legs.
Next illustration of Futakuchi Onna translates, “2 mouthed Woman” Well, self explanatory. No that mouth is not for bitching, or gossiping, but for eating. A wife of a Miser who lives in small village in Fukushima, she is a hard worker who rarely eats. So rare, that a second mouth mysteriously appears on the back of the woman's head. The second mouth often mumbles spiteful and threatening things to the woman and demands food. If it is not fed, it can screech obscenely and cause the woman tremendous pain.
