Yokai : Momotaro

illustration of otora-gitsune 🦊 a one-eyed, three-legged kitsune who lived in Aichi Prefecture. He is best known for kitsune tsuki—when a fox spirit possesses a human—and was particularly famous for frequently possessing the sick and infirm. He had a powerful personality, and humans possessed by this kitsune would adopt a number of his mannerisms. One would be talking endlessly about the Battle of Nagashino, traumas and adventures that they never experienced.
Next illustration of The plasterwall. Just a huge flesh of wall. There is no way to slip around this yokai; it extends itself as far as to the left and right as one might try to go. There is no way over it either, nor can it be knocked down. However, it is said that if one taps it near the ground with a stick, it will vanish, allowing the traveler to continue on his or her way. Wether it is seen in humans eyes or not… dont know.
